This gentle practice will nourish you throughout you moon time, or monthly menstruation. It incorporates gentle hip opening, to soften the pelvic area, supported forward bends, twists and shoulder openers to quieten the mind, and long relaxations and breathing to calm the nervous system and nurture yourself. Just as the moon waxes and wanes, and moves through its monthly cycle, so too does your body. When your body is in sync with the moon you will bleed when the moon is dark in the sky, a perfect time to go inwards, reflect and let go of the month that has passed and, and breath into the coming cycle of life.
