It is a total myth that yoga is only for the skinny bendy types you see in magazines.  Yoga is for EVERYBODY!!

WHAT IS TRUE, is that when you have excess fat on the body, or large breasts, some poses can be difficult.  Lets not pretend!  A shoulderstand with DD's suffocating you, or attempting plyometric jumps with sore knees is not going to make you feel good or get the most benefits for you.

This Yogasync has been designed for you.  Anyone can have a go at these moves. WHAT IS TRUE is that you WILL get supreme benefits from this sequence 2 or more times a week.

If you have been trying to lose weight for a while it is likley that nothing much works for long.  You may see yoga postures as a way to burn calories and fat.  And you may be right.  But the real story here is that yoga teaches you to slow down the body and mind, to become more mindful and to notice your thoughts.  This cannot help but spill over into everyday living and WITHOUT TRYING there will be changes in your relationship to food, self esteem and activity.  

You dont need to think about it, just do the yoga two or more times a week for 6 months and positive changes will abound.  SIX MONTHS!! Yes!  How long did it take to gain the weight?  How long have you felt like you dont fit in, cant fit your clothes and cant control your appetite?  Isn't a six month experiment worth it?  

You dont need to do this alone .....get friends and loved ones to join in, ask about personal Skype Wellness Coaching from the Yogasync Team Helpdesk, check in to the helpful articles at yoga.org.nz.  AND diarise your appointment with yoga to show your commitment to yourself.  

Here at Yogasync we have been known to say that we have an appointment with a teacher/therapist at the diarised time...it stops anyone from hassling you to do other activites, and reaffirms in your own mind how important this appointment with yourself is, for your overall wellbeing and health.
