Description:
If you’re just starting out and even if you just feel like it, it is perfectly acceptable to just lay your hands on your thighs with your palms facing up and, in fact, this is the simplest and most open position in which to place the hands so feel free to use it. However, if you feel ungrounded, spacey or light headed, turn the palms face down on the thighs and feel a more grounded energetic connection between the mind and body.
Depending upon where you are at in your day and how you’re feeling can influence which mudra is most suitable, so play around with the subtle differences and find what works for you.
